/ What it is /

Therapy that starts with your story

Individual therapy is a confidential conversation held weekly with a therapist matched to your needs. There is no script: we follow what matters to you — panic before presentations, grief that won't lift, relationships that repeat the same pattern — and work on it with methods proven by research.

Most clients meet their therapist for 50 minutes, once a week, in our Asheville rooms or over secure video. Between sessions you get small, practical exercises so progress continues on ordinary days, not just therapy days.

  • Anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, and self-esteem
  • CBT, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based approaches
  • Free rematch if your therapist isn't the right fit

/ How it works /

From first call to feeling steadier

1. Reach out. Book online or call — a coordinator replies within one working day.
2. Meet your therapist. A first conversation to map your needs and agree goals.
3. Work weekly. 50-minute sessions plus small practices between them.
4. Review and graduate. Most clients feel real change in 8–12 sessions, then space visits out.
